Terms of Service

By accessing or using TradeJournal (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use TradeJournal. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TradeJournal Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated under the laws of India.

TradeJournal is a web-based trade journaling platform that allows users to log, track, and analyze their trading activities. We offer three plans: Free (100 lifetime trades), Starter (300 trades/month at ₹299), and Pro (unlimited trades at ₹499).

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information updated.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account at through our Contact Us Page.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

Starter and Pro plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select. Prices are displayed in INR , inclusive of applicable taxes.

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay (India). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

We reserve the right to change pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price change takes effect.

All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion in cases of billing errors.

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service.

Prohibited activities include: attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts; using automated scripts or bots to scrape data; uploading malware or malicious code; and interfering with the proper working of the Service.

You may not use TradeJournal to provide financial advice to others. The platform is for personal journaling and analytics only.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates these provisions.

All content, trademarks, logos, software, and materials on TradeJournal are the property of the Company or its licensors and are protected by Indian and international copyright and trademark laws.

You retain ownership of your trade data and any content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our express written permission.

TradeJournal is a journaling tool only. We do not provide investment advice, brokerage services, or financial recommendations. All trading decisions are your own responsibility.

Past performance data displayed in your analytics does not guarantee future results.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000 (whichever is higher).

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Please use our Service responsibly and in accordance with these Terms. If your actions result in legal claims, damages, or costs for us because you violated these Terms or someone else's rights, you may be required to reimburse us for those losses and related expenses.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us through our contact us page or using the account deletion feature in settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

You agree that any claim must be brought within one (1) month from the date the cause of action arose.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 7 days before taking effect.

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
